Ivy and Bean

Have you ever seen someone you didn’t  feel you could be friends with and later did?  If you have, Ivy and Bean, is a good book for  you.  It’s about two young girls that have not met. Bean’s mom suggests Bean gets to know Ivy.  Bean doesn’t want to get to know Ivy.  But before they meet, Bean does 5 things wrong in front Bean’s tattle tale sister, Nancy.  Nancy is on her way to tell mom about what Bean did wrong.  But Ivy helps Bean escape once there in the Ivy’s backyard Ivy admits she is trying to become a witch.  She can cast a spell to make anyone dance forever.  Bean request her to make her sister dance forever to get back at her for tattle telling on her on her.  Will she dance forever or not find out when you read Ivy and Bean by Annie Barrows or check it out it out from your library.   CC 4th
